My Fun, Cool Projects
In addition to consulting about online content strategies and developing social media marketing strategies for a handful of clients, I have a bunch of interesting projects and events that I’m participating in and really enjoying,
In January 2011 will be moderating two panels at Affiliate Summit West 2011 - one on Pop Culture and another Trendspotting. Check out the agenda.
I’m a Program Faculty Member for the University of San Francisco’s Internet Marketing Program. I’m part of a great group of instructors that teach the Affiliate Marketing training course.
I’m an active member of the Peformance Marketing Association and consult to the trade association as it’s content strategist. I also host the PMA’s podcast, called the PMA Industry Report.
For over a year I’ve been working with Todd Farmer on two different projects: MyContentPro and Affiliate Marketing Plan.
MyContentPro is a member site that provides information on all aspects of content including creation, distribution, marketing and promotion, as well as monetization. Sign up for free and access to great information on content. You can check out our podcast, the Content Pros on Geekcast.fm, and follow us on Twitter at @mycontentpro1 or find us on Facebook.
We are getting ready to launch our first ebook (The Content Buffet) under the MyContentPro brand. I’ll keep you updated on that.
Todd and I also moderate a forum called All Things Content with MyContentPro at Unguru.me. It’s a fun place to get information and share ideas with other people who care about using content to make their online marketing efforts a success.
AffPlan is a work in progress that focuses on helping all members of the affiliate marketing community learn more about the business in order to be successful. Todd and I also do a podcast called AffPlan’s Strategy Sessions, which offers tips, techniques, best practices and interviews with industry leaders.
Jim Kukral and I are co-authoring the book “The Ultimate Pitch: 17 sure-fire strategies for getting exactly what you want in work and life.” The book will be published by John Wiley & Sons and is due out in the fall of 2011.
And for the past four years, I have co-hosted with Shawn Collins, the popular Affiliate Thing podcast on Geekcast.fm. Here are some other podcasts that I co-hosted: The Spew and Cast of Geeks.
When I have time, I also enjoy contributing to cool blogs like Ultimate Foodie, The CMO site and ReveNews.com.
